i have an aero LR308 in 6.5CM as well. so much fun to shoot and quite accurate. nice vids, i've watched a few on youtube in the past.

Zen I know you found a deal on your tri pod. However, I am not that lucky. What brand tri pod, ball, and saddle do you think is the best buy and where to pick one up. Thanks.

I'd say anything "not plastic" unless you're running a 10-12lb gun.
Are you spot and stalking or mostly sitting around?
I've heard great things about Primos Gen 3 but haven't messed with it myself.

As for the rifle mount. I will always say HOG or PIG Saddle. Both are great. Other models are in the same price range. Just don't go cheap if you're going to be primarily spot and stalking.

If you have a gun shop in your area bring your rifle in and demo. If it can't support the rifle by itself then avoid. The only movement it should have is the one you apply to it. Plastic and light carbon flexes and it will totally jack with your accuracy.

Man I love watching u kill these things!!!! I want your job at your location to go hunt all the time!!!! If I die can I come back as your weimaraner???

According to my Fitbit I averaged 2.5 hours of sleep last week. Having properties 35 min - hour away with hogs is a blessing (and a curse).

Figured I'll sleep when I'm dead! Bwhahahah.

ITS NOT MY DOG!!!!

I agree!!!! Sleep is for dead people.... I just trip off how many hogs you see and down here they want to charge your first born to go shoot them and take them.... unbelievable!!!!

still want to be your dog!!!!:D:p

I subscribed to your channel. Good stuff. Do you eat all those pigs? Do you just leave them? That's a ton of meat!!!

Welcome to th adventure. Piglets go strait into pit. Under 125. Grab main portions; straps, ribs, steaks. Between 125-150. Backstraps. Over 150. Mother Nature enjoy. It's not bad to eat big ones. You just need to bleed them out longer. Meat can be tougher. I just shoot so many I take what I'm in the mood for that week. Backstraps and rubs you can literally clean and cook. Steaks you should bleed out.

What part of Texas are you from? I was at fort hood and lived in Georgetown for 4 years. I went hog hunting all the time in centerville. Shot 3-4 hogs out there. They were active, but hunted hard so I saw a lot but they were INSANELY smart. Never out in the open, crossed trails fast and one at a time and never came to the feeders. I think they knew when we were out there. Lots of activity, you were going to see them, but not long enough for a shot. The hogs you hunt seem to be relaxed. Do you rotate spots or is it because of the thermal and hunting odd hours? Thanks for your posts I've been really enjoying them.
