Construction Estimator....?

Please remove if this isn't allowed, but I figured that it would be preferable to employ someone from this forum than some total stranger.

I work for a General Contractor / Construction Management company in Boise Idaho. We are growing steadily and are on the hunt for another Estimator to add to our team. Currently we have 5 folks on that team and we need someone to join us.

Our company culture couldn't be better from my perspective. The owners are both hunters, our Vice Presidents are hunters, all of our division directors hunt, most of our project managers and superintendents hunt, we are a group of hunters that work to support our hobbies. :)

Currently we are 350 strong, including a self-perform concrete group and retail, commercial, multi-family and federal divisions supported by various business units (including the aforementioned estimating/preconstruction team).

I have been with the company for almost 10 years and there is no other company that I would consider the grass to be greener. I'd say that we are a tight-knit family, but that's not accurate, because the only family you have a choice on is your spouse, we CHOOSE to be a part of an awesome Team.

To expand on our company culture, one of the owners just told me to procure some more steel plates so that we can host a range day with some of our deserving supers and support staff.

Boise is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation and for good reason. It's a hidden gem in the Gem State. Don't tell anybody else, we want to keep it that way. :)

Please PM me if you have an inkling of interest.

No, I'm not a recruiter, but I love this company and I'm always happy to help grow our Team.

Sounds like a great job opportunity. I was a construction superintendent for several years before becoming a general contractor in the Treasure Valley. I'm currently working in the Twin Falls area but would love to be in Boise again. I have 20+ years experience in the construction industry. I've been a long time lurker on this forum but never posted before. It doesn't look like I can PM you until I have more posts, but I welcome your PM.

Thanks,
Guy

This is awesome....should totally be allowed. With all the f-uped crap going on this nation, this is certainly a bright spot.

Hi Guy, if you are comfortable posting your phone number I'll give you a call tomorrow.

Oh man I would be all over this if I weren't married...can't leave the inlaws...I've done engineering, contract work, and estimates my whole army career. Getting out in 45 days! That sounds like my dream job and location.
