Bore scope pics...is this normal?

I'm thinking, that Barrel, would be on its way back to Master. I'm sure they were proud of it, when you paid for it, but don't think they would be proud of that specimen.
As others have said, its either, flawed machining, and cleaning, and or materials, or a combo of BOTH. Nice pic by the way, and for a nice price too. But also as said, the pix can keep you crazy, trying to figure it out.
The Lilja, video said it all. I'd ship it. It's always gonna be on your mind.

My question is did you clean the barrel, if so please describe how you did that. Those look a little fresh to me if you have shot it some. I would expect some copper fouling in them like those that appear a bit orange.

The orange ones are in the chamber. When I cleaned the barrel, I used a bore guide, so that area didn't get cleaned well. I have a one piece carbon push rod, used a nylon brush, Montana jag with patches with M-Pro 7 bore gel and cleaner. The scratches are perpendicular to the direction of pushing the rod through. I would assume if my tools were scratching the bore, the marks would be in the same direction as i was pushing. I never drug the jag back towards the chamber, I would unscrew it after it came out the muzzle.

Although it sucks to start all over, I'm sure this will be a positive thing in the end. At a minimum I'm gonna get the twist rate I want now. I ordered a 1/9 for my Berger 215's. They sent a 1/10.
MPA said they don't do 1/9, so my only choice is 1/8, which I think will be fine.

That would be my choice if I order a new 30 cal. (1-8)
Sounds like you're winning this battle already.
