Reloader 26 in 6.5 creedmoor

I am working on a load with Peterson brass srp, going out to test Friday... I will keep u posted if you like.
Ya an update with the srp brass would be great. I've got some Lapua brass sitting around but I wasn't sure how it would preform with that kind of charge weight, will velocities be close? I know case capacity will be tight. Thanks for the specs on your current load. I've got to get my hands on some BR2's...

There's little doubt the SRP cases will better endure high pressure reloads.
I see the same thing with 338 Lapua brass, the 338 Lapua having a larger outer diameter surrounding the LRP primer pocket. More brass surrounding the primer pockets to resist the pressure-caused tension.

I measure some case web expansion on my 338 Lapua cases, yet no primer pocket expansion.

Very interested in your srp test
I will give you the details. Here r a few concerning the brass.... my H2o test yielded 50.5gr however, with QL data from Blowfishn gave me a few options on where to start and where to end... i might have some time in the morning to go and run some rounds, I will keep you up to speed. I have a round that has seen 1275yrds with no problem...

Be interesting to see if the srp can run rl26. With 100v and 4350 it took .5 more powder to get to the same velocity. For rl26 I did most of my testing in below 30 degree weather and non magnum large rifle primers were both slower speeds and much greater sd and es. With 215's I'm seeing single digit ES over 10 shot strings. Now we are seeing 40-50 degree daytime temps I plan to see if the 210m's will perform better. I have some wolf and cci 200, 250 and br 2's. I really have no desire to test them and if the 215's don't spike my pressure as the weather warms . I doubt I will test over just shooting

The mag primers lights that slower powder a lot better and by theory the primer should lower the sd and Es... I use br2's in Hornady brass, the above pics are with hornady brass. The bottom load was tweaked some and has decreased. In my Peterson sp brass I will be using cci 450... I will post the results.

Thx. looking forward to it.

Preacher,
Just to confirm...you are shooting a 6.5CM...right?

There has been good info on a couple other calibers in this thread...just making sure.
