Check out this lineup! I never was a huge Sierra fan in the past, but that 200gr .30cal with a .715 BC sure changed my mind. Sierra has really stepped up their game and is blowing the competition away. I have always been a Hornady fan, but these look above and beyond anything else in their weight class! There's also no denying Sierra produces some of the most consistent and accurate bullets out there! Sure glad I have a 9 twist Bartlein on my .308 Norma! Looking forward to seeing some of you guys shoot these and test them! I can't wait to get a box of them in my hands.

That 7mm 197 SMK with a .780 BC looks pretty impressive, too.

I haven't liked or used Sierra bullets since around 2002-2003 when I saw what the 160 SGK's did to several deer shoulders at 100-150 yards leaving an STW's muzzle at 3,200+ FPS. Destroyed one shoulder completely and half of the other one. WAY too much meat loss. Hopefully they've redesigned them since then, or put thicker jackets on them.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of soft point bullets like the GameKing. I currently am messing around with 140 GameKings in my .270, but not a fan of how easy the tips get buggered up. In the past, the SMKs just did not impress for the price with their low BCs for most offerings. But these new designs are priced right under Berger in most cases, and have some crazy high BCs.

I've always liked Sierra. I use the smk's . I just wished they carried them locally so I dont have to pay for shipping.

Check out Powder Valley and Bullets.com, the shipping from Powder Valley has always been around $6-7 for a couple boxes, and they are priced about $5-10 under local shops or big places like Midway, Brownells, etc

I think my dad is going to give the 95 a go in his 7 twist 22-250 AI. I think we can get enough velocity out of it to not need the 6.5 twist. That should be a awesome 1000+ target bullet

Well, although Berger somehow did an amazing job of supplying the reloading community with bullets during the Obama years, about half of their advertised products are currently unavailable from the vast majority of retailers. Regardless of how good a bullet performs, it's no good if you can't buy it. I hope Sierra takes note.

These look great. I would like to know how they came up with their BC numbers, and how accurate the BC's are in the real world. Does anyone know if Sierra has a doppler radar, or how they establish their published bc?
