I know saum brass is in works for this summer. you would think it would be pretty easy if they are doing cases that are shorter and longer than nosler case unless nosler royalties are to high

I've been looking over my ADG 300 Win Mag brass, It looks to be nice brass the necks are very straight right out of the bag! The one thing that has me concerned is the primers seat with much less pressure than my Nosler and Winchester brass! So we shall see how this plays out after a few firings.

I noticed the same thing with the primers. haven't shot them yet to know if they hold up. used fed 215 and cci 250 same thing but 338 rum brass were a lot tighter

We have several new calibers in development for 2018, but we have had many requests for the xx - Nosler, so we are considering adding it to the list.

The SAMMI specification for the large primer pocket diameter is .2085 min / .2100 max. We control ours to .2090-.2095. Since pocket diameters grow with firing, some manufacturers run at or below SAMMI minimum to improve case life, but in our experience, this could lead to primer sensitivity issues.

ADG's manufacturing process results in case head hardness that is greater than traditional manufacturing methods. This contributes to a minimal change in our primer pocket diameter over the life of the case.

ran my 300 win mag brass for the first time. I was worried about primer pockets but so far so good. 208 eld-m, cci 250, h-1000, .010 off lands.

pressures from quickload. after adjustments all velocities with in 4 fps for whole workup. all 4 shot avg. 77.0 has best sd & es . for the guys that asked case H2O AVG. 1.7 difference hi/low 91.1 average fired. going to try to get out tomorrow and run test again with fired cases. top 2 loads primer pockets opened from .2095 to.210. not sure how long they will last at top pressure

Have I been misinformed? It was my understanding that Lapua has never made belted mag brass. They just paid Norma or some other company to put that Lapua head stamp on it. Is that not the case?

Any way, I'm very glad to see the numbers looking that consistent for the ADG brass. It will be nice to have another source of high quality brass, and in the US even.
