Got this to use as a whitetail gun but have went another direction. 21" x caliber Sendero contour 8.5 twist barrel threaded 5/8-24. 700 action with tier 1 accuracy package by LRI. Has badger bolt knob and trigger tech trigger with seekins 20 moa rail. Stock is an LTR stock that has recoil lug bedded and I put magpul dbm in it. I let job isn't perfect but it works flawless. Gun is very handy and it has very little recoil with the brake that's on it. As always looking for other customs in trade or perhaps a nice pair of binos.

i have a custom 270 wsm built on a Remington Model 7 Action with a Douglas Air Gauge Barrel I can send pics if your interested.

I am like a fish that sees shiny stuff and goes after it. Whatcha got, I have short attention span so if it's shiny I might like!!!

weeelll, I got a shiny AR. Also shiny uppers,too. Can't part with my 700 Remy LA in 7 STW though. It's a keeper!
The AR is a heavy 223 with very effective muzzle brake. Two uppers; in 20 TAC and 223AI. both are awesomely accurate custom builds!
I also have a Thompson Encore with 2 barrels. A 50 cal. muzzleloader (Bergara) and a 20 TAC.

I will keep those in mind brother. Not much of a gas gun type prefer bolt guns. Could also use a nice higher end shotgun.

I LOVE your 4 important things in life! While I do have some high end shotguns, I use them. As you probably know, high end shotguns ain't cheap shotguns.But, just to keep chatting, what ga. etc. are you looking for in a shotgun?

Have not heard of that cartridge. I have a 6x47 Lapua on a Remy 700 SA. Super build and every bit as good as the 6 Creed, which if I wasn't already set up for the Lapua, I would have opted for the Creed. I really believe the 6 is better than the 6.5 unless you are after bigger game than deer at long ranges. For target shooting out to 1000 yds., the 6 is pretty danged good!
