Hell's Canyon Long Range 28 Nosler help/questions

Can't swing a custom rifle right now and can't find a factory gun that isn't 1 in 9. This would only be for hunting, and I wanted to know how limited I am on bullet weights. Realistically I'll probably only be shooting factory ammo for the next year but would like to shoot the heaviest bullet I can get. I can get a Browning Hell's Canyon Long Range for $1035 out the door after rebate. I thought it might be a good and economical way to get into 28 Nosler. So how limited am I with this gun, and do you think this is a good way to get into 28 Nosler?

A 1:9 twist will handle almost all of the bullets out there. A couple of exceptions for a hand loader, but can't think of any factory ammo.
There is also custom ammo from a variety of folks, that could help you get the most out of whatever rifle you choose.
The rifle I know nothing about, but it looks like a reasonable entry level rifle

Looks he typoed the title. 1:9 will work with just about anything if you're at some altitude. Even the 195 Berger should be fine according to their stability calc at 5000+ feet.

The only issue I see with the x bolt is magazine length. You may not be able to chase the lands with longer bullets.

Sorry about the typo. Yes it is a 28 Nosler. It is very unlikely that it will be shot at elevations below 5000 ft.

I can't commment on the 195s yet as I just bought one of these and have only reloaded 180s and 175s so far.I bought it after a friend brought one over to my range and wanted me to reload for him.After his rifle was shooting so well and being I was in search of a lightweight hunting rifle I bought one and it shoots amazing.After finally getting trigger to my liking I love this thing so far.

Bill,I took it out and disassembled and had a heck of a time driving out the sear pivot pin but I got it apart and was going to shorten the spring but ended up swapping it out with a lighter spring I shorted out of a ink pen laying on my reloading bench, ended up nice and probably more around 2 lbs or a little less. I found a site I believe was erniesgunsmithing or something where he used to sell replacement springs but quit because everyone was having trouble getting trigger back together I believe. I had no problems other than the two pins especially the sear pivot pin was tough to remove but glad I did much better trigger now.
