Highest 30 Cal BC?

You've got that exactly backwards, they have lower BC's compared to lead core bullets of the same weight because of the density of copper being so much lower than lead.

Because they are so much longer than lead core bullets of similar weights they also typically require a faster twist rate to stabilize the bullet which is why when you get into the heavy for caliber bullets people often have a difficult time getting them to shoot well.

In comparison with 230 Alco RBT with a G1 of .680-.685, the 230 Berger hybrid target (30430) has a G1 of .717 and you can get them for $52/100 (.30 Cal/.308 230 Grain Match Hybrid Target Bullets, Case of 100 | Bullets.com)
What makes me wonder about their BC's is that the velocities they show aren't very realistic and I can't find where anyone can tell us how they are constructed or the materials used, any independent verification of the BC's or any examples of them being used on game and results.

You'd think a bullet with BC's like theirs would have caught fire quickly and we'd have a lot of independent results in numerous threads particularly here.

Yes they look cool but so do dozens of other bullets many of which do not perform.

Good find. I'd like to see more on these as they are very interesting, they remind me a lot of some bullets we tested back in the early nineties that had a similar profile and the rebated boat tail. They were solids with a large titanium penetrator and in the .300wm they shot great and were able to penetrate far better than anything we'd used before but they were each hand turned on a lathe and ridiculously expensive.

Modern CNC machining is a wonderful thing!

I agree! I've been out of touch with the machine shop world these days; the last CNC machine I used was in 1984-85 time frame. :D
 
Elevation or windage 6.5 vs 300 which trade-off do you prefer? 6.5 CM vs 300 WM 6.5 PRC or Maybe 6.5-06 those are closer for elevation debate. I prefer the bullet variety selection that we have for 30 Cal... But heck now that Puppet Biden in place its getting tuff finding supplies...
