Liking this one, highest velocity with usable working pressure in my 25" Benchmark 5r barreled 270 Win. Good accuracy @100-200m sub 1 moa for 3 shots.

Using Alliant's online data I'm getting +3100 to low 3200fps using a Nosler 150 grain LRAB. Before this powder that was strictly 270 Weatherby territory.

Anyone other than me finding this true? lightbulb

I've used it in a 243AI with great results. 105 Hornady Match is getting 3380 fps with excellent accuracy out to 1000yds(if I do my part).
My problem is "I can't find it anywhere".
GOOD LUCK and GOOD SHOOTING!!!

You really need to chrono your load before taking Alliant data to heart.

But yes, I'm getting 3280 fps with 150vld in 270wsm in a 24"barrel with cci 250 magnum primers.
I've recently switched to BR2 non magnum primers for 3250 fps with better precision.
This is NOT a max load, only an accurate load. I've never pushed it past that.

Same with 6AI. 105gr vld at 3380 fps in a 26" barrel.

Neither of my 7mm RM barrels liked it though, no clue why.

I saw almost the same results while working up a load for my 300 WM. I found RL-26 to be faster than H1000 with 5 less grains of powder and the same pressure signs.

I decided to go with the H1000 for now because I get no flyers with the H1000 and quite a few with the RL-26 loads.

If it wasn't for the flyers I would have likely stayed with it.

All my RL26 data was shot over a chronograph. Remember i got 3177 fps with the mid load & +3200 with the maximum. My Ruger showed zero signs of over-pressure as I worked upward, stopped @ the listed max load.

One thing RL26 is forcing me into is a better recoil pad, the old red Ruger job is beating me to death.

This powder is very good in my 375 RUM as well. Very good, stable and consistent powder. I have the 26 matched with the 350 smk. I destroyed my spikes skull in Oregon with a ear shot. My confirmed fps is 2900. My plan is for my son to use it in his 375/378 Weatherby Imp with a 394 Hammer Hunter. Should be a recipe for success!

My buddy has a 338 RUM, anyone using RL26 in one of these?

I'm using it in my Savage 112BVSS, .300WinMag with 208gn ELD-M's, Hornady brass and CCI BR2's. Getting .5 MOA out to 1K, muzzle velocity averages 3092fps w/77.0gn's, ES: 13 and SD: 7.23.

Definately looking to change brass though. At this level of performance the Hornady stuff doesn't hold up. Wishing Lapua made some! JohnnyK.
