Has anyone here attended the Gunwerks Level 1 or Level 2 shooting school classes?

I know there are other schools out there but the Gunwerks dates work for me in Wyoming for their August classes. I have a lot of training for tactical weapons / CQB but nothing dealing with long range.

Thanks!

I attended level 1 last year and learned a lot. I was going to attended level 2 this year but I drew a moose tag in Alaska so level 2 will have to wait.

Level 1 takes a person thru basic rifle setup and basic ballistics.

The only complaint I have is a good amount of time in class you feel like your sitting thru an advertisement. But I'm sure this probably pretty standard in most classes who teach and build rifles

All in all you learn a lot and I have no problem recommending this class to friends

Thanks, I'd take the moose tag too! Congrats!

I addressed the marketing/pitch thing with their sales guy, Garrett Wall today on the phone. He emphasized the current lead instructor has been trying to clean some of sales pitch up/out. I'd be a little cranked up if I spent $2500 and four days and it was much more than an hour or so of pitch filtered into it. That is why I'm asking for references here on the forum.

I did there course when course 1 and 2 were combined. Learned a lot from the course. I feel sure things have changed over the years. Went almost 10 years ago.

I have been looking at courses for a long time, and me being in the military my deployments get in the way. There are lots of courses out there and I would love to go to them, but like you, I'd like to hear from someone who has been to one. Maybe next year.

I have not attended the Gunwerks school but have to several people that have attended it and also the Extreme Outer Limits Shooting school and they all liked the EOL school better. The first 4 hours is class on system and general information on how to shoot long range the next 4 hours is on proper technique and sighting in. The next day it is all shooting from 400 yards to 2000 yards. You can use your own gun or one of theirs (MOA) rifles and there ammo. If you buy one of their rifles you get a discount or a free school. I also help instruct the school if you have any questions and i own several MOA rifles. I suggest you check it out.gun):)
