As you can see in the photos the claw extractor is in the rim and the case is not all the way into the center of the bolt face. When you go to close the bolt, it is a bit tight and after you fire it it is almost impossible to get back open. Anyone else had this problem? Solutions?

To answer yes question Yes the lugs and bolt are squeaky clean.

Had to get on the laptop to get them up.

Does the serial number scribed on the bolt match the action?
Looking at the pics, it does appear the bolt face may be too small for the case head, or it is misaligned, hard to tell.
If you put a cartridge in the chamber, does it look centred in the barrel without the bolt in place?
Have seen a few eccentric cut chambers in my time.

Keep us updated as to what you find.

Cheers.

Yes the sn matches up everything looks square but it is interesting that you mention that. I mounted a new scope on the rifle with talley one piece ring bases and to get zeroed the 60 moa scope os almost maxed out to the right.

Don't know if you are loading from the mag.or not but the claw extractor is not for single loading as is a remington. Maybe the extractor has been damaged due to attempting to push over the rim of the cartridge. Win. extractors have been known to break if this method is attempted. Just something to think about.
