20 MOA scope mount for Savage LRH

Hey all, can anyone point me in the right direction to find a 20 MOA scope mount/s. I really want to avoid mounting a rail on the rifle, the only mount I've found is the DNZ Game Reaper which is has the mount and base all in one. Are these worth looking into, or is there another product I should be looking at? sorry if this has been asked before I havent found a thread on it.

I use the Burris Signature rings with offsets. You can get the rings and get the inserts and adjust them for 10-20-30 MOA however you want.

I believe Talley makes offset ring sets. I swear by Talley rings (not at).

So I'm liking the Burris signature rings, in spite of having to mount a rail. Does anyone know what height rings I'll need to get a Vortex HS LR 6-24x50 to clear.

On a 50mm I use the high rings and have about 3/16" clearance.

Don't necessary need to get a rail to use the Burris Signature rings. You can get a set of two piece bases like these.

The Signature rings only come medium height and larger. I use the mediums with bases like the above with 50mm scopes and they are perfect.

What might determine whether you need a rail or not is the length of the action (short or long) and the length of your scope. Sometimes with a long action and a relatively short scope it can be hard to get the correct eye relief. A rail tends to solve that.

The Signature rings can also help with another problem. If the receiver holes don't line up well with the barrel, the scope will point to one side. This is usually corrected with the windage adjustment on the scope. But if the offset is significant. It may only be corrected with the offset Signature inserts. A set of bases with windage adjustment fix this also. Leupold make some. Just don't see them used as much in long range stuff since they don't offer the MOA rise.

Talley used to make lightweight rings with MOA rise. I have a set. But I just looked on the net and don't seem to be able to find them anymore....

Talley was the first place I looked. I've got Talley mounts on my Tikka T3 and really like them. I wanted to try to use as few pieces as possible hoping to avoid running the windage out due to compounding manufacturing tolerances. Honestly I'd never heard of the Burris signature rings, if I'm going that route I'll probably get a 20 moa rail to put them on, I'm thinking that will give me more windage adjustment in the mounts if I need it. How big of a PITA is it to get the scope level up in the Burris rings?
