First Look: New Super-High-BC Flat Line Bullets | PrecisionRifleBlog.com

Rumored that they are working on .284 and .375 cal bullets. Anyone hear what the weights will be?

Taggin in.....and making popcorn...

I have seen this movie before. They may have a high BC but not that high.

So let me get this straight...
All of the BC's listed are ones verified by Bryan Litz except the BC listed for their bullet, which happens to be significantly higher. Hmmm.

Allen Warner is making them so you can bet they have the bc he says they will or very close to it. The 30 cals are around 1.50 a piece so I won't be getting some anyway.

Personally, I'm all for innovation. These are so far out there I can't help but think of: 'If it sounds too good to be true, most likely it is'.

If there was something in the product mix I could try I'd be the sucker and try a box though :).

I can say that I have seen more innovation in the past 7 years than I had seen in the previous 20, so I'll reserve judgement until these are out in the wild.

Hmm. Alco bullets list super high BC's too, but guys are having problems because the bullets don't stay stabilized at distance. I'll adopt a wait and see attitude with these. Maybe Brian Litz will chime in.

I've heard similar sentiments to yours in regards to Allen Warner. Still these are a big leap ahead of anything out there, especially when you realize that they are getting the BC w/o the weight, leading to higher velocities.

If these are all that they are cracked up to be these will be amazing.

I wouldnt be surprised if the BC is close to advertised, but even if ther are everything they are said to be, i cant afford a tight twist barrel just to shoot them or even afford the bullets at $72 for 50.

"In fact, WTC claims "The 255.5gr 338 caliber bullet has the velocity of a 225gr bullet and the BC of the 300gr bullet." Josh said they were able to get a muzzle velocity of 3300 fps out of a 338 Lapua using the 255.5gr Flat Line bullet."

Very impressive if true with a barrel < 31".
