There seems to be a shortage of these primers. Does anyone know what the deals is - is there any reason to believe I will be able to find these soon or should I look at alternatives?

I live in southern mo. and I went close to a year before finding them in a reloading store that I do not shop very often. Most of our bigger shops were trying to get them and were told they are back ordered. I used other primers during that time but federal 210 match and 215mag primers have always been what I look for, but it might not hurt to have a back up plan with another brand

Check "gunbot.net". A website that shows availability for ammo and components for reloading. They update it hourly, and don't sell anything, they just show you where it is available.

I've found a few things thanks to gunbot. As for the actual issue of finding the Match primers, I have no idea. I'd be willing to say Supply/Demand unbalance just like most other components out there still. As other have said, if you can find the regular 215s, I wouldn't be afraid to use them in a heartbeat.

i also have been looking for those primers but instead the most abundant ones ive found are the CCI 250 large magnum primers and i have had excelent results with them and theyre easier to get ahold of in more places

I was able to pick up some standard 215's. Are they a direct replacement for the 215M's or do I need to work up another load?

evening. gunbroker had a 1000 for $162 S&H very high priced. I just bought some. if u can find these or any federal primers buy them, all the Federal primers r going up in price!!gun)

I think the scammers are buying them up just like they do 22 ammo and trying to get a big profit on gunbroker, etc. When they get wind that something is scarce, they jump on it.

I know a couple who are holier than thou and don't own guns or shoot. I've seen them spend lots of their spare time scarfing up this stuff to sell online. Go figure...

yes 1000, these r not the match, but I find no difference. I have 6 magnum rifles. I

use these primers a lot. I bought a 1000 fed. 205m, 210m primers. I got in a routine of using

fed. primers, I read the primers sustain a longer and more conformed flash.

could b hearsay, they work for me.
