I wanted to get opinions on a fair price for a brand new Rem 700 factory take off barrel. I bought a 30-06 for a build and will be selling the barrel shortly.
It's a 24 inch, matte black, 1:10 twist, sporter contour.

What would a barrel like this go for?

Thanks in advance!

Most of the ones I've seen are around $50 or so (you might get a little bit more, esp. the 26", just depends on buyer's need and want), here's an example >>> http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f19/rem-700-new-take-off-barrel-swap-124114/

Sometimes, gunsmiths will buy them off you too.

Good luck!

I just bought a new takeoff 30-06 24" barrel for $40 shipped. I have seen them listed for sale ranging from $25 to $100+. It doesn't mean the higher listings are selling.

I think the shipping postage was about $12

$35 to $75 shipped depending on what barrel.

Most I have purchased are at the lower end of that.
