Cosine or degrees which do you prefer?

I gotcha, mine reads both. Since I don't shoot angles much I went the cheap route and got the Slope Doper for $18. But like I stated, the only reason I see needing both is if you are using a program that needs angles.

I have used both but like angle for use with my ballistic calculator. Any more, unless I am using the G7 RF, I just lay my Iphone/Shooter on top of my elevation turret in the angle mode, and the angle is entered and calculated automatically. This has worked superbly for me.

I now use my iphone as well and have the slope doper as backup, as opposed to 5 1/2 years ago when this thread was last posted on.:D
The G7 range finder would be nice, may get one of the new models eventually. I just wish the ballistic calculator was upgraded (extended in range).

Maybe the post was reignited by design…to see what folks are using now.:) With LRF's and iphones capable of this feature, my Nightforce ADI could use a new home!
