Well guys I have been wanting to have one of these done for awhile now but have been unsure what form to use. I saw this months back and had to have it. Taxidermist dropped it off on my birthday. What a treat!

I called in this good sized male back in December near Canadian boarder here in MT. It was 19 below zero that day. His guard hairs are very long and thick. Cant see them very well in pictures but you get the idea. Wanted to share with you guys.

Really ties the room together....................

Wow...that's really unique. What a cool idea. Great mounts. I cant wait till my bobcat comes back now!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

Congrats on having a taxidermist that does a good job on coyotes and foxes. That takes some talent. I recognize that book on your desk I have a cert or 2 or 3 associated with it.

Good luck and shoot straight

Bob

Thanks fellas. Nice to look at each day Im in the office.

Make sure and post some pics of your bobcat.

Yotedoctor...here's the bobcat. I really like my taxidermist, but I feel yours is a little more creative. Like I said before those are truly awesome mounts! Congrats!

Thanks for the feedback fellas. I am very pleased to say the least.

Just to fill you in, the fox was done by a guy that is no longer a taxidermist. Yes its a real shame!

The coyote was an idea of mine that I came up with some time ago and I did find one photo on the internet to go off of. My taxidermist said it was one of the funnest/coolest mounts he had done. I pulled this cedar fence post off the property where I call a lot of coyotes. Pretty cool to put it all together.

Good spot on the NEC book. I need to look it over more :D.

As far as the bobcat, it looks great! How big was the cat again?

Thanks
Brian

Great mount! Very unique. I dig it. Cross fox? Just got the hide of mine back last week. I struggled with the idea of a life size mount but space dictated that it get added to the cased fur collection. Very nice, Brian.

"19 below zero..."

Any man who hunts in that weather is a man after my one heart. That is also good winter camping weather, BTW.

I have lots of gear just for winter backpacking/backcountry skiing. "Winter, no bugs and no people."
