New Mexico Elk Draw Results

Go to the game and fish site. Login and click on the review button by each of your applications. Up at the top of each page will be an application number for each species. If you drew that species...there will be a license number beside it. This won't tell you exactly what unit that you drew but it will let you know that you did indeed draw a tag.


Earlier in the week, for about a few hours you could click on the 2015 harvest report and it would actually tell you what unit you drew. But they took that down.

For elk I drew the second archery hunt (Sept 15-24) in unit 16B and 22.

This was working for me earlier (I drew 2 of my 5 hunts) but now it is blank, so your mileage will vary. I don't know if that is because it only works for a little bit, the one time you visit, or if they just plain fixed it and now you can't tell.

They fixed it. Yesterday you could log on and look at your harvest report for 2015 and it actually told you what hunt you drew. But they took the whole harvest report option off the website now.

It showed I drew elk and deer but I don't know units. They fixed the backdoor this morning.

6A, 6B, both ML and Rifle and put in for the Calderas.

Basically whatever Mario told me to!

Oh also put in for the leftover tags.

Even if I don't draw and he does I'll probably grab a bear tag and go to help him and hope maybe I can scrounge up a bear chewing on his carcass. Well, his elk's carcass. Not sure I'd want a bear that ate Mario! Too mean for me!

Yeah I'm not sure I would want a bear who was eating on my friend either. That's a mean bear!!!!

I was just referring to last week's back door that closed after being up for a day or so. The one referred to in the first post of this thread. It didn't show me any elk love (but some for oryx and deer, fingers crossed).

Would be nice to draw the calderas hunt but at least I drew an elk tag (if the thing last week was correct). We shall see tomorrow!

You mean these oryx? Only tag for them that I have ever drawn. It sure tasted good!

37" and 36.5" horns



I just need to get an elk to put on the wall. Have killed 2 elk but nothing to put on the wall!
