guys what rings will be most durable for heavy use? Going on a leupold scope.
Are those titanium rings advertised in the banner ads worth the $200

DXHI,
Do you mind if I ask what you are mounting your scope on?
If it is an AR platform I would probably recommend a mount over rings to give you the proper eye relief.
I have never had the need to pay $200 for rings and they have worked well for me.

Nikon m223 is all you'll ever need

It is only good for small scopes and by using up most of the upper rail it causes problems with mounting Caldwell brass catchers.

Solid picinini rail hand guards allow for forward mounting scopes. The upper is the Nikon P223. It was dumb idea before I moved up to quality higher powered scopes and I have moved them father forward since this picture

I haven't had any problems with mine. Mainly cause I don't do long range stuff with mine. Only out to 500 yards or so. For that stuff 1 inch tubes work fine. Yes if hes going to a 30mm tube he will be forced to find something else.

The two piece 1" or 30 mm two piece rings work rather well on the AR platform. Because you can turn the foot of each base/ring the direction you need to maximize eye relief for the fit to YOU and your rifle.

Thanks for the replies guys. it is going on an AR platform.
it's a 1" scope
