Just can't bring myself to join the mainstream population that focuses on hashtags and gossip.

I do no social media other than a couple of forums like this one as well. I have no desire to get involved either.

I thought the same as you guys do about most everything new tech wise. But just like the cell phone, computer, smart phone, texting, and now twitter, there is a reason for it.
I find myself now very rarely watching the co-called news. I get my entertainment from fox, cnn, and msnbc. I use to get my news from The Colbert Report and The Daily Show. Now I get my news from twitter w/o commercials as bad.

I follow some LR groups on FaceBook but hands down this site is 10x better than Social media... though I do find myself reading some comments on here and then searching momentarily for the "Like" button ha ha
