Hey guys,

I've heard alot about the xp100 and was wondering if you can buy these new or are all of them old ones that just keep getting rebarreled. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Remington is putting them in XR100s

Thought a competition-grade target rifle was out
of your reach? Think again. The Model XR-100 Single Shot Target Rifle utilizes the legendary
XP-100 single shot target pistol action. Its single-shot, solid-bottom receiver offers an extremely
rigid and stable action, resulting in precision accuracy.

Couldn't you use a new as yet unused action like a Borden, Surgeon or whatever to make a pistol since it has never been a rifle?

Screech, e-mail or call me regarding XP-100 actions.

Last I knew, according to ATF, an action has to be originally registered by the manufacturer as a rifle or pistol and then used as such. To use an XR to build a pistol is illegal and to use an XP to build a rifle is also illegal, although it has been done extensively in the benchrest world.
