I have hunted unit 60 multiple times and can share my experiences and knowledge if you would like 'boots on the ground' information.
Wish I had more vaca, I'd take you up on it. I've hunted 60 seven times. 3 were over the top of Pass Ck and the others were over the top of Deer Ck Pass along the Thorofare Ck. Two of us always took six horses. How many horses you planning on for three guys?

Most likely 5-6, generally like the rule 1 pack per rider, but with lighter gear 5 would do.
