Re: www.live-shot.com Been off line a few days Guys... Ian,put my name down for the Vegas Hunt !!! thanks for your input. the way i look at the ethics thing is that we who are lets say, " in the lime light" have influence over the methods and tactics used in hunting by many of the shooting / hunting populus. We need to promote correct ethics and methods and the correct use of equipment to head the anti's off at the pass. Like i said, i expect Steve Hornady to be at the IWA (he was last year) i'll be having words and if i feel satsified i shall perhaps be trying the Amax on Roe deer this year. I know what FMJ type bullets will to certain target substances. Its the wafer thin, imidiately expanding match type bullets that i am wary of. Deer are an easy to kill game species in most cases, a wild pig is a different kettle of fish entirely, you won't get away with using match bullets on them without loosing some carcases. With ref to canned hunting, well it depends on how big the estates are, you usualy find that there are natural fences of boundaries like rivers, gorges, etc, and mixed with man made things like deer fencing, motorways/highways/ housing areas etc. The last thing i would want to do is shoot an animal that didn't have a chance of escapeing me before i got chance of a shot. Centre Punch,, email me again mate i can't remember a mail from you. what you need is a quad bike and to come with me to the Borders. plenty of long shots available there. Pete
