I haven't used the VLD's yet. How are they for loading with factory chambers? I hear they are hard to get the proper seating depth?

That is true. The VLD is a very long bullet with a long slanting ogive. For some chambers you will need to seat them further in the neck so they will feed properly out of a clip. If you plan to load one at a time it is much less of an issue.
