ordered a savage 110fp in 300 win mag yesterday.how "flimsy" are the plastic stocks on these rifles?can they be made more rigid?if not where can i get a wood factory savage 110 stock?are the wooden stocks pillar bedded?

the plastic stocks are crap no doubt about it , you can fill the entire forend with a good bedding compound and that'll make it a little more rigid best bet is to scrap it.
the Bell & Carlson Duramaxx is a pretty good stock for the money

if your looking for the factory wood try Midwayusa.com or
E-bay
