I have a wilson case trimmer with the sharkfin. They sharkfin on mine dont stop the case from spinning when I'm trimming the cases. Anything I might be doing wrong?

Are you using the appropriate case holder? If so, did you tap the brass into the case holder on a piece of wood or something like it? Did you just get done sizing and leave sizing wax (the only thing to use, in my opinion) on? These are the first things I would look at

Silly question, did you tighten the nut on the Shark Fin? I just got one and had to experiment a bit with tension, it should have a plastic washer. Also first oiled the holder and had to thoroughly clean to keep from spinning even when tapped in. Good luck.

Its the case holder spinning not the brass inside. How do you adjust the tension on the sharkfin?

Thought that might be the case. Just tighten the nut on the top of the fin that holds it in place. Very small increments like 1/4 turn and test. That should do her.
