Family day in Montana today. Diane drew a B tag (doe) for here where we live. With only 3 days of season left the goats that are left are plenty spooky. They have been getting their butts run off and are few and far between. With the wind howling at 10+ mph we wanted a shot under 500 yards. My son, wiife and I crawled to get a poke at this young doe. Diane set up prone, I ranged and Daniel dialed the scope for her on the 6mm Br loaded with 107 SMK's. Once the little bugger stopped moving I gave Diane the "send it" and she made a clean shoulder shot. Done deal!!

Here is the newby hunter with her tender little prize.

You married the right one! congratulatins to her on a great shot.

That rifle is a 6br!! as heavy as it is plus the brake that's as big as a boxcar, it must recoil like a BB gun.

Nice job. Right now i'm so desperate to hunt we are counting how many flies we kill with our fly swatters in the BHUTS...48 42 of them were one shot kills
