Shiney nose Larry.... I have to chuckle at that comment......:D:D Candidly, I'm in the Internet business and I ship worldwide and I don't use shipping as a profit center and I really wish that Larry didn't either, but sadly, he does, on smaller orders and it's poor business practice. Another reason to stay away from Flea-Bay, where sellers pad their bottom line with over the top shipping. I'll take Natchezz or Wideners over Midway, anyday. My Midway purchases are always over their minimum free ship threshold. All other orders go south, literally....... and I don't 'round up' for the NRA. The NRA gets plenty fro me now. Those 16 buck to ship items should have been $7.50, $9.25 with signature conformation and insurance, not 16 bucks, thats pure unadulterated BS, especially considering the retail markup. I just had Talley pull the same crap on me with a set of one piece Talley mounts for my Savage 308 LWH. and they got a scalding e-mail from me as well as a nasty phone call. For really refreshing shipping rates, I recommend Dvor. I just bought a Pelican Storm Case for my .338 LRH and it shipped to me for $9.50. It weighed 20 pounbds, was 56" long x 16" wide x 8" deep in the box.... and multiple items bought on the same day ship at the initial ship price. Thats good business and one reason why I frequent them. Neil at Cameraland is high on my list too. Free shipping and expedited service, no charge.
