I am 57 and a hunter mostly. I live in Chandler AZ.. I have rifels from 416 to 22 and from custom to stock. If it moves I hunt it. I am looking for a good lood to start with for my Savage Long Range Hunter in 6.5x284 norma. I am using Beger VLD Hunting 140gr.

I use amaxs and generally run about 51_52.5 grains of h4831sc work up from probably 47 grains incase your reamer specs or the bearing surface length of the bergers is way different

I have the same gun and I have put 3 boxes of HSM trying to break the barrel in hoping to load something more accurate. I am still waiting on my modified case so I can measure OAL and load it right. Let me know what u are loading if you don't mind
