Don't feel bad! I once needed an oddball ball bearing this finish up a machine build I was doing. We had thousands of bearings on hand, but nothing close to this one. I called around to the bigger vendors about buying a couple, and none had any. I did find out that there was another bearing I could use that was ever so slightly different, but none of those were out there. I then made some phone calls to the manufacturer to see about getting a couple, and they gave me a 22 week delivery wait! I then ask them if they had any idea who was buying them, and they said it was designed for a jet engine, and the last ones they sold went to Pratt Whitney. I ended up buying three of them with the promise I would replace them when mine showed up (16 weeks later). I had the shuttle jet go out of it's way to Hartford CN, and they put them on the plane (this is the same airplane the press loved to cuss). gary
