I'm reloading for my .243 and bought some reloading books for general loads and info, but what is a good way to start? pick a bullet and powder, go through my books to find a load and start 10% under or how do you decide where to start?

If you have multiple sources pick the bullet weight you want to use, write down minimum and maximum loads from each of the top 3 loads from each manual, look for overlap.

I like that Nosler provides load density, and I usually pick one with the highest load density. Then depending on the size of the case I decide, which of the minimums I'm going to use.

Primers can make a little difference, but generally I don't worry about it at this point.
