Hi Steve, I don't have any 600 yard targets here to measure. But I do have a target from 750 yards with two groups on it. Both groups are under 6". They were shot off the bi pod too. I haven't shot a ton of groups at 1000 because I usually only shoot cold bore to simulate hunting conditions. But I am usually with in 5" of center mass. When I got the rifle last july I felt it shot plenty good for my skill level at long rang. So rather than dink with the load I felt my time was better spent practising for hunting season. It worked out well, the rifle took several animals past 700 all 1 shot cold bore kills. Longest being a small whitetail doe at 1137. Well now I am looking at summer down time, and would like to hone both me and the rifle to the best we can be. Like I said, it shot plenty good but maybe it could be better. I am use to shooting Bergers in my other rifles so I looked at the jump off the lands this load has and wondered if this is typical of the 300 SMK. Just thought I would see if most people are close to where mine is seated. So Steve, where are yours seated? Lost Creek, Thanks! Thanks guys! Jeff .
