Has the 338 RUM lost the interest of the general shooting public? It seems hard to find any factory rifles chambered in this cartridge, while the 300 RUM is abundant.

yeah remington only makes the 300 and the 7mm they have or are going to stop making 375 rum and have already stoped making the 338. it is dumb. If they sold a edge they would sell a ton.

I dont think they have stopped making the 338 RUMs. We have a brand new Rem 700 XCR II in 338 RUM at work for sale. But its the only 338 RUM i have seen in a long time

I wanted a Senduro in .338 RUM but after 6 months of looking I went with a XCR. I thought it was that they just didnt ship many to Canada but I guess that there phasing out down south too. It a real shame, its one heck of a round. I did however get lucky with my XCR, it shoots 1/2 MOA (boy was I pleasantly suprised!)
