To me, a sub moa rifle is one that holds under one moa day in and day out on demand. I shot my new loads this afternoon at 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600 in preparation for the opening of my elk season in five days. The targets are laying next to my keyboard. There was a slight crosswind and it was spitting rain. The 200 yard group is 1 3/4, the 300 is 3 1/2, the 400 is 2 7/8, the 500 is 4 inches, the 600 is 4 1/2 and the 700 yard group is 5 1/2 inches. Yeah, I know that's nothing spectacular, but the furthest shot from the dead center of the target is 3 1/2 inches. All 25 rounds would have hit an 8 inch plate. Good enough for hunting?
