What is your favorite .300RUM load?

I just (on Saturday) got a couple of boxes of the Accubond LR 210s to start load development with. I don't have anything yet obviously, but I'll be curious to see what you come up with too.

I'm also shooting a Sendero (SFII) with a Viper FFP. :)

I haven't been able to locate any of the 210's as of yet. They seem to be a hard find since they came out. I've got over 500 200's left so I need to shoot them but would really like to try the 210's. I shot the Hornandy 208's and was really impressed but they're not an Accubond. Let us know what you end up with for a load.

Midway has had the 210s in stock sporadically. I just set up an alert on their page to send me an email when they appear 'in stock'. They usually sell out in under an hour. I just timed it right one day and managed to get a couple of boxes. Will report back when I get a ways into load development for them.

The load I hunt with: rem brass, fed 215m, 200 accubond, 92.0 gr RL25. OAL 3.650-- 3150 fps

Another load that shoots very consistent: rem brass, fed 215m, 200 accubond, 95.0 gr Magnum, OAL 3.600 -- 3100 fps

This for 300 rum cartridge.

So, I haven't seen anyone's data on the 210 AccubondsLR's. I am having fits getting groups anywhere close to what I get with the 200's. I have used Magnum, Retumbo, H-100 and RL25 and can't get anything better than a .837 @ 100. My 200's are consistently giving me close to half-inch at 200. Any ideas folks? I just read an article that said best accuracy is at setting them deep into the brass at 3.60 but haven't tried that yet? Anyone?

Nosler brass
Federal 215 primer
210 Berger Hunting VLD
93 gr VV N570
3122fps validated
Proof Research 26'' carbon wrap 1 in 9.4 twist
I cant remember how far off the lands I seat them

I have gotten ablr's to shoot well by seating them deep. I would work them down and see what happens.

I tried my first series of 8133 in my 300 RUM with 212 ELD-X yesterday. I had excellent results in accuracy and velocity at around 93-94 grains at 3170 fps with a 212 seated at.025" off the lands. I was pleasantly surprised.

I've had excellent results with a 180 Scirocco over a max charge of all 3: Re25, H1000, and Retumbo. I've also got a load with the 200 Accubond over Retumbo as well. I think it is about 1 grain under max.

Haven't had time to play with the 180 accubonds, 185 VLDs, or 210 VLDs.
The best I've found is similar. Using H100, RL33 and RL26 all three of my rums shot exceptionally well with the 183gr Peregrine VLR5's and almost as well with the Barnes LRX and Hornady 180gr Interbond.

I found a couple of other very good loads with both H1000 and RL33 shooting the Hornady 212gr ELD-X. For what it's worth my .300wm's did equally well or better with the same bullets but preferred the 200gr ELD-X and RL26.

I have always used Rem brass and always gad good luck, I have 15 pieces that I only use for load development and just loaded them again yesterday for the 8th time, the primer pockets are probably done for after this time but I consider 8 loads quit good. They only grow about 1/1000" per firing which ain't bad.
A ball pin hamer, a punch and a ball bearing can solve that problem.

I always like a 200 grain sierra gameking with 7828 and a federal 215. Averaged 3180 out of my 26 inch barrel

Finally got my 210gr Accubonds to shoot 4.89 Inch five round group at 200 yds. 90.2 gr. RL25 Fed 215 Primer and 3.55 OAL with zero pressure indications on brass. Thanks for suggesting to seat them deeper than SAMI specs!
