I've been loading mostly 150s lately but, I've got a few hundred 180 MKs and a few 180 NBTs I'm planning on trying in my new 700 Police after I break in the barrel. I've also been considering using the 150 Accubonds, they've worked well in my 06'.

I was planning on using R22 and H4831 to push the 180s. I also thought of trying IMR7828 w/ them as well.

What are your favorite 300 Win Mag loads?

Thanks,

I am holding a 1/2" pattern at 100 yards with 76 grains of RE-22 in a Winchester case with a CCI Magnum primer and a 180 Grain Nossler Baslistic Tip. I am seeing an adverage of about 3100 Fps. I am shooting this in a Browning Medalion A-Bolt with the BOSS set at 8.1

Hope this helps good luck.

75.5gr RL22 with either 180gr accubond or Bal tip. both shoot right at 3150fps in my rifle with above average accuracy, back off a grain or two in your rifle and work up.

I have loaded for my buddys M70 300 Win Mag. 180 gr Nosler PT, 75.5 grs of RL22, W-W case, and Federal GM215 primer. Shoots .5"-.75" groups at 100 yds.

The second load I tried, 20+ years ago was a Hornady 165 gr. flat base, Win 8½ primer and 80 grains of H4831. It was right out of a book, but I don't remember which one, right now? Never tried anything else, still puts 5 under a quarter @100 yds. Recent data claim it's a hot load, so be careful.

Good hunting. LB

Win brass, Fed 215, 200 gr accubond with 68.8gr of IMR 4350, velocity is 2850. Had to back off from 69 gr as brass life was getting short - velocity was 2950.

I also was shooting 165gr Ballistic tips at 3250 with 74gr of IMR 4350 (max load)

Everything is seated to mag length.

Win brass, fed 215, 74-75g of R#22 with 180g Sierra Spt BT.
OUt of my sendero, it shoots 1/2" groups if I use the muzzle break.

180 gr BT or Accubond,73.5gr IMR 7828, WIN brass & fed 215M primers.Under MOA and 2925FPS.

Hunting load:168gr.Barnes TSX,seated .030" OL,82.5grs.H-1000,Fed.GM215M primer,Lapua brass.Velocity averages 3200fps,1/2" or less @ 100yds.This is out of a 25.3" Hart barrel.Also,75.5grs. RL-22 with Partitions or Accubonds is a very good load in my experience.
