It may work in theory...but in actual application it does not work! What DOES WORK for me is to shoot at many varying distances and keeping a record of the zeros. Ballistic programs IMO are fine for getting a general idea of the amount of drop but due to varying barrel contours and different harmonics...nope..they don't work! Might be close....but in the final analysis...what works best for me is actual shooting and data recording the zeros for the varying ranges involved!
