I finally at the point for reloading my .257WM. My McM stock will be in late spring, but in the meantime the tupperware will have to do.
I have R-22 on hand, and want to use that with 100 gr TTSX's. Using Nosler (Norma) brass and fed primers. Rifle is a Rem 700.
Barnes #4 says ~ 3.140". I can get as much as 3.404" with a decent grip on the bullet and not touching lands.
What is your COAL and load using the 100 gr TTSX?
Quickload says I am way overboard with 71.0 grains, especially with the shorter COAL.
