Whats the expected weight variation of Brass and Projectiles?

I weighed some loaded rounds today and noticed a 3-5gn difference, it was split 50/50 out of 100rnds 50 were .5gn off calculated weight and the other 50 were between 1-5gns heavier are theses safe to fire?

cheers

Safe to fire unless the variance is in your powder load. This is an excellent reason to weigh & sort brass before loading. Bottom line: If you have ANY doubts, pull em and start over.

It might be prudent to grab your heaviest and your lightest. Pull the bullets and weigh the individual components. If the powder and the bullets are the same then you "should" be OK.

edge.
