Weatherby mk 5 for sale , 7 STW
Fluted stainless bbl , muzzle break , pillar bedded , rings and base .
This rifle was sent back to Weatherby because the barrel is so far out of alignment that the Nightforce scope had to be cranked all the way to one side to bring the bore in alignment with the scope .
Weatherby said that this is " within specifications " and declined to do anything about it . If you put a straight edge down each side of the action and measure over to the center of the bbl there is more than .125 dif in only 12 inches forward of the receiver .
However , Weatherby says that this is within specs . So , This rifle is up for sale . I will take a mere 900.00 us for this "warranted by the factory " rifle that costs a bunch more if you go buy one ( unsuspecting , trusting soul )
