Selling my Weatherby Mark V Lazermark chambered in .340 Weatherby Magnum. Bluing is in excellent condition and rifle has only had a handful of rounds through it. That's called a "Five Panel" Lazermark due to the 5th section of design under the cheekpiece. They're considered more desirable than a regular Lazermark.

Nice, I like the Conitrol mounts to. I have one in camo with see through steel rings. I am set from 25yds to who knows.

What causes the finish to crack?

Finis to crack?? Not sure I've had one other one do the same ... I'm told If sent to the factory(the stock) they will re finish it. Nope never called.
My guess is Maybe wood was to moist or dry when finished.. wood does breath.
