Shooting my Brux barreled 9" twist 7 wsm at 300 yds today. 100 yds 168gr Berger VLDs shot poorly in front of 70grs of Re#25 seated .020 away from lands. 139gr Hornady SST touching the lands in front of 69grs of Re#19 shot much better. Set up Bench rest target at 300yds along with water filled "Rock Star" cans. . Then shot the 139gr SST after raising up 3 MOA and a couple clicks wind age I was able to hit the cans. But Bergers either touching or off .020 shoot poorly. Any suggestions for VLDs ? Full value wind gust along with shooting through the "Boil" in NV desert. Sightron S3 8x32x56 did well.
