Varmint Rifle weight

Well after discussions on other forums as well, plus some gun smiths, I've pretty well decided on this set-up.

CZ 550 Kevlar 22-250 and probably with the new IOR Scope 3-18x44-35mm tube with illum MP8 reticle.
I feel better with the heavier one, plus a few other reasons. Now to get some $$$

When choosing a varmint rifle based on weight, one must decide how the rifle is to be used. A walkabout rifle can turn out to be a bad choice if it is heavy, whereas a heavy rifle is fine for static benchrest-type shooting. I carry heavy BR rifles for walk-and-sit shooting, but I don't recommend planning to walk a long distance with a heavy rifle. But again, it is strictly up to the shooter.

A buddy of mine bought the Winchester coyote in 243 and it shot very well out of the box.
