Interested in a varmint load for .308 win--something to take PD's and 'yotes. Saw a thread a while back on a .308 for PD's but all that was mentioned was 110gr VMAX. Don't recall which powder or how much of it. Any other bullets work well for these applications too? Thanks.

Johngfoster, try H4350 and Winchester 748. John, look at Reloadersnest.com and you should find some good stuff on there. My buddy uses a 308 and a 110grn V-Max for his varminting. He loves this combo for varminting out 500 yards.

He also uses the 125grn Ballistic Tip. He likes the 125grn BT because it has a much higher BC (.366) than the 110grn V-max (.295) and is more accurate in his rifle. I hope this helps.

Rl 15

I have had great luck with 155 grn Lapua Senar and RL 15 with CCI BR2 primers in Lapua brass. Acuracy best at 2600fps and just off the lands.
