USPS is a waste of our tax money, I loathe them. Don't tell me how they do their job 99% of the time, that is not true. They are paid to put packages and letters in a numbered box and they get to suck off the taxpayers teat whether they do it right or not. It's not a hard job so do not tell me it is. I can tell you some hard jobs and this is not it. I have complained so much I do not even bother anymore. My neighbor and I on the next street routinely have to bring each others mail since matching an address with a number box is too complicated. Guess what, FedEx and UPS can do it but not USPS. It's to complicated for them. And this has occurred for the last 28 years so it is not just one bad apple. I even joined a third party program for a few years where I scanned every piece of mail and it tracked their efficiency (if I recall, IBM ran that and fed the data to USPS). I thought for sure all the wrong letters and packages would improve my delivery but it did not. I quit that program since it was as useless as USPS is. Those idiots delivered a handgun that required a signature to my neighbor on the street behind me. They did not get a signature and could not match the address on the box with the number on my house. You would think that would be required of this job but not for USPS. I complained to the Postmaster and absolutely nothing was done. USPS needs to be shut down and given to a contractor. They are a waste of tax dollars and the service gets worse over the years. My last delivery guy talked on the phone 100% of the time. He always had his phone and headphones on and he would be talking while dropping letters off in our boxes. I guess he cannot do two things at once since he routinely got our mail mixed up. Did I already say they are useless?
