I looked through the search option and found limited feedback on what color and reticle was the most desirable (easiest to see consistently). When I searched the internet the feedback seem to point to red. The scope is going on a 240 WBY and will be used for deer and critters. My eyes struggle to see the fine duplexes so hopefully there is a few shooters over the age of 50 that can share what has worked for them. The scope is the AccuPoint 5-20x50 that my youngest son has picked out for the family to buy as a Father's day present. I was really pleased with his thoughtfulness until he reminded me that he had already claimed the gun from his brothers as one of his choices and wanted to make sure it had a good scope on it-it almost brought a tear to my eye.
