I received a new Jewell HVR trigger today for my Rem #7. Everything looked good but I had a problem. The leading (lower) edge of the trigger housing is less rounded than the factory Rem trigger. When installed, you can not put the bottom metal back on the rifle because the forward section of the trigger guard hits it. I tried to relieve the trigger guard but there is not sufficient material to do so. Any further removal of the trigger guard material will put a hole into the small chamber which houses the magazine latch pin & spring. I can't be the first guy to run into this problem. Suggestions?????
