I just use a wheeled duffle type bag. Never had to ziptie anything. If you want to drop weight, ditch that heavy Eberlestock pack.

Eagle Creek is all I will ever travel with for my clothing and certain gear on a normal trip. They no longer make my exact model I have but the current 36 ORV trunk is close. I can't get the link to work. Eagle Creek has a no matter what warranty(not long term wear). I will be heading to New Zealand in May on a back pack hunt. I will be putting my backpack into a Osprey Airporter. I am considering a Sitka Nomad for future flights with a bow.
