Took the 338 out to 975 yards

Did a little shooting this weekend.
Found some rocks around 24" x 24" out about 975 yards. Had around a 12 mph west wind, dialed in the dope and poof, clouds of white dust.
I spotted a nice black bear about 1500 yards past the targets and he looked a little nervous
The first photo shows the shot angle and the second shows the canyon I was shooting over.

Here's a couple scenery shots from Montana.

Also did some coyote calling and called in my first two coyotes.Wasn't able to seal the deal , yet but what a blast !! Just like " Buck Fever". I'm hooked for good.

Sorry Dick, it's a 338 Edge.
This is my first custom and I'm hooked. Each time I pull the trigger, I get this s*@t eating grin from ear to ear. Can't wait till hunting season

I thought it probably was as the range and results kinda spelled "Edge".

I know what you mean about the ear to ear stuff. Sure is fun smacking stuff at ranges where you can't even see the target with your naked eye.

Len needs to come up with a BIG smiley.
